The Origin of IAM
Our institute was founded at the specific request of Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan (d. 2004) in 1987.
Pir Vilayat was the meditation teacher of both of the founders of IAM, Puran and Susanna Bair.
Pir Vilayat instructed them to
"Take all of my teaching, and the teaching of my father (Hazrat Inayat Khan), and bring this
message to the public for practical use, using a professional and scientific approach."
Puran and Susanna have devoted themselves full-time to experiencing and
teaching the message and methods of the heart.
